Dr Kishani Kannangara is a Sydney-based Consultant Endocrinologist, Andrologist and Fertility Specialist, also providing specialist services to rural areas of New South Wales.

Born in New Zealand, Kishani completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney. After graduation, she undertook her internship and residency at Gosford Hospital on the Central Coast, followed by Basic Physician Training at Concord Hospital in Sydney. She completed her Advanced Endocrine training at The Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick and Nepean Hospital in Penrith, before undertaking an Andrology Fellowship at Hudson Institute of Medical Research (The Prince Henry Institute) and Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne in 2010.

In 2011, Kishani was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as a Fellow and Consultant Endocrinologist. She regularly presents to health professionals at national and international meetings.

Kishani specialises in Andrology, Fertility, and the following areas of Endocrinology: Diabetes, Thyroid disorders, Reproductive endocrinology, Gestational diabetes and thyroid dysfunction in pregnancy, Male infertility, and Androgen deficiency in men.

Kishani is also part of an experienced multidisciplinary team at Westmead Hospital, providing fertility preservation consultation and treatment for male and female patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
